The Best Chocolate Cake

1 box Duncan Hines Devil Food cake mix
1 box (3.9 oz) Instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups sour cream
1 cup butter at room temperature
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 and grease 10" bundt pan.Stir together cake mix and pudding mix. Make well in center and add sour cream, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Beat on low speed until blended. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into pan and bake 60 - 70 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack. After cooled completely, dust with powdered sugar.

For the frosting, bring ¾ cup whipping cream just to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 ½ cups chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth.

Place 1 cooled layer on a cake plate. Spread the top with about 1/3 cup of frosting. Top with second cake layer. Frost top and sides of cake with remaining frosting. (I just slowly poured the frosting onto the top of the cake, while spreading, and let it drizzle down the sides of the cake)
